About Lisa Tarshis

Hi all!

I'm Lisa. I'm a passionate professional helping nonprofits achieve their goals. I've been in the nonprofit world for almost 15 years. During this time I've had the pleasure of working with more than 40 clients on over 60 different projects. In the middle of the dumpster fire that was 2020, with two kids under two, I helped found Evolve Giving Group.  

I pride myself on bringing a strategic vision and collaborative approach to each project. My clients have commented on my ability to navigate organizational barriers to build consensus, my big-picture thinking and most of all, my ability to break down concepts to make them manageable and easy to learn (these overly generous comments make me blush).

I'm known for my detail-oriented nature and direct approach to problem-solving. There's no BS here and I promise to always tell it to you like it is. 

I've often found myself burning the midnight oil and waking up early to get work done only to find that there's a never-ending list to complete. As someone who LOVES processes, I knew there had to be a better way. Over the years, I've developed many systems to help myself and others (like you) work smarter, not harder. I've found that a few small tweaks can make all the difference. 

You'll notice in my blog that I share helpful hints that you can implement right now. I almost always share a freebie filled with the concrete tools you need to make progress. After all, what good is advice if we don't know what to do with it or how to put it into practice?
